In preparation for Lent, Father Robb will be burying the “Alleluia” on Tuesday at the school. Students are practicing their first week of Lent with prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Grades 1 – 5 are going to Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 2:15 p.m. Home and School will be meeting Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the school library.

The Daughters of Isabella, Our Lady of Guadalupe Circle #746, is inviting all High School graduating females, active in parish life and pursuing a college degree at a school of her choice to apply for a $500 scholarship. The Scholarship is to be awarded for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Applications are available at local Catholic parish offices including Our Lady of Peace in Ironwood, St. Mary’s in Hurley, St. Sebastian, Immaculate Conception and St. Catherine Tri Parish Office in Bessemer and St. Ann’s in Bergland. Applications may also be requested by calling Connie Niemi, Scholarship Committee Chairman, at 906 932-0458 or by contacting your high school counselor.

Completed applications should be returned to the D of I Regent no later than March 15, 2019. Further information regarding the scholarship is included in the application form and cover letter. The recipient will be acknowledged at the Spring Award Assembly. ​

Also available will be the Sausage and Cheese tray along with an assortment of their cheeses that are hand-crafted in Wisconsin.

It’s our first annual Benoit Cheese Fundraiser for All Saints Catholic Academy and Little Lambs Daycare. Visit our table in the St. Joseph room after all weekend Masses for a sample of delicious cheese. The sale continues through Monday, March 25th. All orders are pre-paid and will be delivered on Thursday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m.
